Dental school provided us all with a variety of experiences...some good and some bad. The bottom line is that we all received a quality dental education at the University of Florida College of Dentistry which launched successful and innovative careers for each of us. I ask that each of us reflect on the positive and give thanks for the vehicle of our success no matter how difficult the dental school journey.
The University of Florida College of Dentistry continues to produce graduates with a strong commitment to Community Service, Clinical Practice and Research. Our school is almost 30 years old. If the University of Florida College of Dentistry is to meet the challenges of the future, we will need a new facility and maintain the ability to attract top-notch faculty. We can't do that without your support and participation. I urge each and every one of you to become active participants in the Academy of Alumni and Friends. YOU ARE THE FOUNDATION OF THE GATOR NATION!
You can help by joining the people above in the Academy of Alumni and Friends or by making a pledge (no matter how small or LARGE) to the new building fund, the dean's unrestricted funds (which include acquisition of faculty) or by joining the Bequest Society. For more information on becoming involved, contact me or Cathy Jenkins (Development Director, UFCD) or by following one of the links below.
Thanks...and I hope to see you soon...and GO GATORS!
- Larry
